Lissa spent most of her life in the Northwest of the USA. She arrived in Fredericksburg, Texas,in the fall of 2015. Lissa is an artist and also a construction industry professional. Some have called her a “boutique craftsman”.

Soon after arriving in the Hill Country, Lissa noticed that her interest in beautiful things, artwork, re-purposing and cosmetic upgrades on homes and structures matched the needs of locals. This realization led her to start Hill Country Finishing.

Lissa’s projects vary, but one of her first was to work with another painter to refresh existing murals and add new ones at the highly regarded Nimitz museum.

Lissa works with homeowners and others involved in the housing and building industries.  She transforms and designs items and spaces in need of repair by adding artistic touches to make them beautiful, unique, and more functional.

Colors, textures, creative thinking, and a hands-on approach are her tools! Lissa respects the value of pieces in a structure that can be used and re-purposed, envisions them as they could be transformed, and then makes it happen.

As a professional, she knows the importance of listening to her clients, performing in accordance with agreements and starting and completing projects as promised.
